Meet Our Team

GREGORY A. STIVER, DDS

Dr. Gregory Stiver earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of Missouri – Kansas City School of Dentistry in 1984. After graduating, he worked as an associate in a dental office before he started his own practice in 1986. He now works as the CEO and owner of Dental Care Center of South Kansas City, and he provides dentistry on a day-to-day basis.

Dr. Stiver believes in the importance of furthering his education so that patients are always getting the best care possible in our office. He has advanced education hours in IV sedation and dental implant dentistry. By offering advanced sedation and tooth replacement solutions, Dr. Stiver is able to help many patients who would otherwise have to suffer decades with dentures.

When he is away from the office, Dr. Stiver enjoys going out on two wheels. He is an avid bicyclist and enjoys the exercise. Dr. Stiver is married to Ginger, whom you might also see around the office. He is a father to three children: Lauren, Clayton, and Mallory.

AMY

RECEPTIONIST, FINANCIAL COORDINATOR

Amy is our trusty financial coordinator and a huge asset to our team. She has been working in the dental industry since 2005 and has been working at the Dental Care Center since 2013. Amy is known for her quiet, calm and relaxing demeanor around the office. At home, Amy is married with two boys, and she loves spending her weekends and evenings going to basketball tournaments

GINGER

CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER

Ginger has been married to the owner for over 35 years. Together, they are the pair of docs, as Ginger used to own and practice out of a veterinarian clinic in Martin City. After having 3 children, she decided to retire from veterinary medicine and become a stay-at-home mom. Now that her kids are all grown up, she stays busy managing the daily operations at the Dental Care Center and keeps the office running like a well-oiled machine. Ginger is the office conflict resolutioner and can find a solution to just about any problem, whether it be life or business. She is also responsible for the at-home feel you get when you walk into the office. As a retired vet, she is an avid animal lover and has many dogs, horses and cats at home.

KIM D.

REGISTERED DENTAL HYGIENIST

Kim D. is one of our amazing hygienists here at the Dental Care Center. Though she has only been here since 2016, she has made a huge impact on our office and all of our patients. Kim has over 20 years in dental hygiene, as well as previous experience as a director of education for a dental assisting school and consulting for dental offices. All of this experience makes her not only an amazing hygienist, but a great leader and role-model for the rest of our team. When she is not busy giving you a clean smile, she is at home spending time with her husband and their four dogs and one cat. Kim is a frequent traveler and loves to go to places with a beach or water.

KIM P.

DENTAL ASSISTANT, RECEPTIONIST

Kim P. is another one of our jacks of all trades at the office, as she is able to rotate from the front and back offices. She has been a dental assistant since 2012, but also doubles up as a receptionist. Kim has two adorable young sons, Jaxon and Elian, and is welcoming her third son, “Baby A”, in the beginning of 2022. When she is not working or at school, she is spending time with her family, going to her baby brother’s soccer games and being outdoors. Kim loves photography and all things art, as well as putting things together and then taking them apart.

MALLORY

MARKETING DIRECTOR

Mallory has been at our office since 2015, helping with our marketing both internally and externally. She is the face behind any Facebook post, mailer, office giveaway or free dental days, and hers is the voice you will hear when you get your confirmation call. Occasionally, you may see her running around Martin City in a T-Rex or Tooth costume. When not in the office, Mallory is usually busy riding and competing horses, making artwork, falling down YouTube rabbit holes, exploring abandoned places or working towards her marketing management degree. Mallory is among one of the many animal lovers in our office and has two dogs, two cats and two horses.

MONICA

DENTAL ASSISTANT

Monica is the newest dental assistant here at the Dental Care Center. Though she started working here in 2021, she has been working in the dental industry since 2016. Monica is another one of “Dr. Sky’s finds,” having worked with him in the past at previous offices. Monica was able to step right in and seamlessly integrated into the team, and her calm and soft spoken demeanor is a very welcoming breath of fresh air in an office full of rambunctious extroverts! Her relaxing personality makes Monica an excellent addition to our assisting team, however, her ultimate goal is to become a dental hygienist. And when that day comes, she will make an excellent addition to our hygiene team! 😉 In her free time, Monica loves relaxing and spending time with her daughter.

SARA

REGISTERED DENTAL HYGIENIST

Sara is a bright, warm-hearted hygienist at our office … you always know she’s here when you can hear her contagious laugh in the office, and she will always be there to greet you with a comfortable smile. Sara has been a hygienist since 2012 and has been at the Dental Care Center since 2018. She is married to her husband, Matt, and together they have two fur children named Jack and Lucy, and a beautiful young daughter named Molly.
